What we need:

We have a great opportunity for a Manager, Data Intelligence to join and lead a team responsible for campaign operations, reporting and analytics.

What you'll do:

  • Assess business, data and technical needs for marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Assist client and account team with campaign planning, identification of analytical needs, and strategic planning processes
  • Leverage understanding of the client's customer data and technology using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Design and execute campaign processes to create data outputs supporting personalized marketing interactions
  • Develop information to support pre- and post-campaign business cases
  • Understand business rules and document technique and data briefs
  • Collect and document selection criteria and business rules for new marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Execute database marketing campaigns with accuracy
  • Lead test design, and generate test/sample data in support of formalized testing
  • Manage team and resource planning; lead and mentor other team members
  • Manage multiple projects and deliverables
  • Perform customer profiling and data mining using analytical tools to extract information and provide key business insights and findings from customer data
  • Support peers with code peer reviews and queries to audit campaigns and analysis and provide data to support email testing
  • Produce communications about database marketing for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Work with Account Services, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, Front-End Development, Application Development and Creative teams to provide a diverse set of data services
  • Work with email service providers to stage data for campaign execution

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study required, plus 6+ years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in relevant field of study, plus 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Multiple years of deep data and client-facing experience required
  • Hands-on, technical experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including components like data extensions, automations, writing queries, inbound and outbound file transfers and extracts, journeys, and sendlog. Experience with api- and DE-driven journey, AMPScript, and REST API is preferred
  • Advanced SQL knowledge and multiple years of experience utilizing it
  • Some experience with Python and data modeling
  • Ability to lead a team and/or coach and mentor other team members
  • Demonstrated ability to gain trust of co-workers and across internal and/or client boundaries
  • Capability to develop in response to client and internal needs and constructive feedback
  • Ability to work and handle projects independently
