Position: IT Financial Analyst II
The candidate will need analytical accounting skills and experience as well as how these will apply to a technical advancing environment. We work with a high volume of detail, in a fast-paced environment.

Vaco Global Staffing is actively seeking qualified candidates for a Fortune 500 company based in Location of: Miami, Florida.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days of onsite work per week, hiring manager is seeking local candidates tothe Miami-Fort Lauderdale area.

The opportunity is a contract-to-hire position. Pay rate of 30-38/hr conversion salary of approx. $75K-80K/Year.

Unable to sponsor now or in the future, candidate must be willing to work as w2 contractor for Vaco. No c2c, 1099, vendors, recruiters or third-party inquiries.

Role Overview:

The IT Financial Analyst is tasked with ensuring the precision of financial transactions within the LTS department. This includes overseeing expense allocations across various divisions. The analyst will also support the team in accounting analysis and delivering comprehensive reports to both the LTS leadership and the Corporate Accounting departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and report on chargeback allocations and monthly expenses for telecommunications, advertising, and inventory accounts.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of profit and loss and prepaid expense accounts.
  • Assist in classifying capital expenditures in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO) and procurement teams.
  • Utilize Metaviewer and other proprietary software for purchase order and invoice accuracy in cost code assignments.
  • Collaborate with IT application and product managers to resolve any discrepancies in charges.
  • Provide accounting insights during the procurement process to the Sourcing and Vendor Management team.
  • Prepare and adjust journal entries as needed.
  • Contribute to monthly financial closings and manage IT expense accounts.
  • Support monthly and annual budget versus actuals analysis and forecasting efforts.
  • Engage in various financial projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure confidential handling of sensitive data, including salary information and contractual details.
  • Identify and propose enhancements to streamline operations and reduce redundancies.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate will need analytical accounting skills and experience as well as how these will apply to a technical advancing environment. We work with a high volume of detail, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in accounting and finance, particularly in the responsibilities listed above.
  • Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
