Job Description
LaSalle Investment Management is currently seeking a Product Manager with a background in real estate or investment management and technology to help maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of their products and processes. A leader who guides and communicates the definition, vision, strategy, implementation, and support of technology products by deeply understanding its stakeholders. Collaborates closely with various corporate departments such as Investor Relations, Marketing, & Investor Services functions to help achieve their desired outcomes while ensuring the long-term success of the products for the benefit of the entire organization.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with the business to gain a thorough understanding of the business goals, processes, operations, and challenges.
Product Strategy: Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for vendor-hosted products that support various corporate functions such as Investor Relations, Investor Services, Marketing and HR, aligning them with the organization's goals and stakeholder needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and gather feedback on vendor-hosted products.
Process Documentation: Maintain documentation of business and system workflow processes & requirements, ensuring that best practices are encouraged and followed.
Product Knowledge: Continuously learn about the vendor-hosted products, their current implementation, history, and potential for enhancements to maximize their value and functionalities.
Prioritization and Organization: Translate stakeholder needs into product requirements and user stories; manage priorities, and proactively address feature backlog to align with organizational priorities.
Vendor Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, collaborating with them to address product fixes, modifications, and new feature needs.
Product Support and Administration: Provide product support to users, including training, managing system configurations, user security settings, and building/maintaining dashboards and reports.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data to inform product discovery, optimization, and delivery efforts, making data-driven decisions to improve product performance.
Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with various audiences, using different methods to address their needs and expectations. Actively listen and translate insights into compelling stories.

Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the real estate or investment management industry.
At least 5 years of experience in product management or related roles, with a focus on vendor-hosted products.
Strong preference for experience with CRM & Investor Portal software in investment management.
Strong preference for experience working with functions such as Investor Relations or Marketing for institutional investors.
Experience with BI reporting tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau, etc.) a plus.
Teamwork and autonomy skills to effectively manage and prioritize work independently.
Flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments and handle multiple competing priorities.
Technical aptitude to understand and drive projects with integrated technologies.
Demonstrated passion for innovation and problem-solving, leveraging technology to drive improvements.
Curiosity and empathy to ask insightful questions, understand stakeholder needs, and go beyond surface-level insights.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to address various audiences and actively listen to gain insights.
Open-mindedness and humility to seek new ideas, constantly learn, acknowledge failures, and embrace personal limitations.
Strong analytical skills, utilizing data to drive product discovery, optimization, and delivery efforts.
Organizational skills to systematically manage product knowledge, strategy, and operations for efficiency and clarity.
