Business Development Coordinator

Assist Satellite Avionics Enterprise Manager, individual shop managers, Satellite Operations Coordinator, and Innovation Team in driving business diversification and innovation within satellite network in support of short- and longer-term financial and strategic objectives and actively explore market opportunities and additional capabilities to grow service offerings. Participate in development of vendor and customer relationships and attend and represent satellites at OEM's, trade associations, advisory boards, customer events, etc. Partner with Sales and Marketing to develop and implement promotional and marketing efforts and materials and to maintain accurate website content. Identify, communicate, and recommend marketing/sales opportunities. Develop strategic business and marketing plans. Assist with project management for satellite business programs to help ensure efficient implementation. Develop and monitor individual project and enterprise-wide satellite metrics and financial information. Monitor and report performance indicators for annual financial and volume objectives and prepare financial and other reports. Create, review, and monitor customer / OEM agreements, contracts, or preferred pricing arrangements. Assist in coordinating new customer accounts with department. Update and maintain information in CRM and participate in customer relations activities (solving credit problems, monitoring regional competitive changes, customer follow-ups, executive briefings, entertaining customers and providing facility tours, and traveling to and calling on "high potential" customers). Recommend technical and nontechnical training opportunities for teams and participate in development opportunities. Requires occasional travel to customer sites.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field or Marketing or a closely related business development field. with five years of experience in business development, which includes customer service and/or sales experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
