Job Description

This role will lead the process, final handoff and stakeholder management efforts tied to all Digital Performance Benchmarks (DBP) research projects. They will be accountable for the quality of the results, end user satisfaction, timely delivery and ensuring that projects are planned and executed in a manner consistent with company strategy, commitments, goals, and standards. The Principal will be responsible for working across teams to ensure the success of large-scale research studies, help manage the QUADS Product team's roadmap to align with business priorities and own the metrics & reporting for QUADS data tools. The role provides excellent exposure to expansive datasets, to peers in other business units, as well as the opportunity to apply and further develop data validation, project management, and communication skills.

What you will do:

* Become an expert on internal tools, methodologies of different datasets & the Digital IQ Product; maintain an always-on pulse on the state and status of research projects

* Own timelines and primary communication with stakeholders on key project dates

* Work with R&A teams to set up DIQ projects including: kickoff meetings, data point selection, process/timeline, reminders for analysts, delivery of data & integration of feedback

* Own annual processes tied to DIQ, collaborating where necessary and managing deadlines across teams

* Plan, lead, and track concurrent workstreams involving analysts, researchers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders over the course of long research project cycles, applying project management (Jira Plan) principles and techniques to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects

* Collaborate / communicate across related areas of the DPB business (such as the DPB CoE and Industry Analyst teams) to ensure alignment and leverage shared capabilities

* Identify issues/problems that have impact beyond project; resolve issues working with teams across projects

* Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments, communicate with other functions, developers, and product managers on product issues

* Proactively propose YoY process-improvements and best practice initiatives and implement them

* Collaborate with Product Team on status of open issues, assist with roadblocks and communicate status updates to relevant stakeholders

* Execute on research process optimization by developing documentation, templates and workflows

* Coordinate with product team members on team roadmap, ensuring organization across signature projects, shifting of priorities based on business needs and the ability to track success metrics

Role Qualifications

* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

* 3-5 years of Excellent project / workflow management experience

* Goal-oriented and strong team player with the ability to manage others through influence, teamwork and relationship building skills

* Proven ability to manage geographically dispersed teams and to collaborate across all levels and functions throughout the organization

* Ability to work in a fast paced-environment with tight deadlines and multiple project deliverables

* Quick study with the ability to learn and operate effectively in new environments

* Experience with JIRA and Confluence (experience with Agile development process is a plus)

* A willingness to be flexible as product needs and priorities change/evolve over time

* Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, macros)

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 76,000 USD - 106,260 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
