1st shift
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager is responsible for achieving FHCP growth/sales targets by maximizing the FHCP sales team potential, developing sales plans and justifying those plans to upper management. This role will also be responsible for coaching and performance monitoring of the FHCP sales team. The Sales Manager will also serve as the first escalation point for agent channels selling FHCP ACA, employer group and Medicare products in resolution of issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, skills and experience:


  • BA/BS degree in related field or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in a sales manager role, health insurance background preferred.

  • Successful track record as a sales representative or manager, consistently meeting or exceeding metrics/targets.

  • Experience with employer group, individual ACA, and Medicare products sales.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence effectively at all levels of sales teams, both internal and external.

  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from lead to close.

  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required. Experience with a CRM platform, preferred.

  • Must hold an active State of Florida Agency Health Insurance license in good standing.

  • Knowledge of Florida Blue and/or Florida Health Care Plans health products preferred.

  • Superior organizational, reporting and planning skills required.
