GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:

Support software engineering activities as they relate to software development in the areas of design, programming and testing of software projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform or assist in the design and implementation of software components (modules) via coding, testing, and integration of non- deliverable software
• Perform or assist the software testing activities
• Write reports of testing activities
• Assist in writing software related documentation
• Assist in hardware and software integration tasks

Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards

Working knowledge of testing methodologies and software development life cycle preferred

Working knowledge of microprocessors or computers and microprocessor/computer based control systems and related software preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Current student enrolled in applicable bacheloris degree program

Basic experience with MS Office

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Production and office environment

Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)

Ability to lift iup to 30 pounds
