Geosyntec's is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Manager to provide management oversight and analytical support to company-wide global benefits programs, including collaboration on strategy, design, compliance, and process/system improvements. The role will preferably sit in our Corporate office in Boca Raton, FL or Acton, MA. The option to work from another office location or a hybrid or remote work schedule may be available at the Company's discretion.

The role will serve as an internal consultant and subject matter expert to the organization on benefits programs, in the U.S. and in support of global operations, including ensuring that plans are properly administered and are in compliance with relevant governing authorities. The role will be responsible for implementing benefits and leave programs, ensuring that policies, procedures, and programs are in alignment with the organization's overall strategic objectives and HR vision; negotiating and providing administration oversight of benefit programs, which includes retirement plans and insurance policies such as health, life, and disability as a primary responsibility. We're looking for a hands- on leader to drive the execution of these important areas across our global operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
    Lead implementation and administration of benefit programs to attract, engage, and retain top talent.
  • Deliver health and welfare and retirement programs that comprehensively meet the needs of a multi-demographic, multi-generational workforce, and monitor and report on program effectiveness.
  • Possess an expert-level understanding of U.S. benefit plan options and services to develop and make recommendations on benefit-related budgets, policies, and
  • Deploy competitive benefits across the global operations, collaborating with local brokers as appropriate.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex matters related to benefits and related programs.
  • Establish partnerships with external vendors and other stakeholders; direct, coordinate, manage, and execute projects.
  • Develop outstanding internal relationships within HR, Legal, Finance/Payroll and other teams to deliver a top-notch employee experience; and

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of related work experience; or over 15 years of relevant experience supplemented by coursework in HR; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct benefits oversight (required)
  • Previous supervisory experience. (required)
  • CEBS/IFEBP or CBP certification, or HR certifications such as CHRL/CPHR, PHR/SPHR/GPHR or SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP. (preferred)
  • Global benefits experience. (preferred)
  • Directly relevant work experience in a professional environment, preferably with a consulting and/or client service focus. (preferred)
  • Highly accountable as a leader with the ability to hold team accountable; provide direction and delegation in a positive, professional manner; and ensure follow- through. (required)
  • Process improvement-oriented and ability to make recommendations and decisions confidently. (required)
  • Proven track record in position requiring independent judgment, interpersonal skills, ability to act independently with an understanding of larger picture and tie to company strategy, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. (required)
  • Ability to partner successfully with all levels in the organization. (required)
  • Comprehensive ability to communicate, influence, and persuade. (required)
  • High level of attention to detail and quality, strong work ethic and the ability to maintain confidentiality. (required)
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
