Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Coordinator

This position provides day-to-day administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Team through database administration and research to move prospective candidates through the onboarding/hire process. Previous experience supporting a Recruitment team required.

Hourly rate up to $27/hr.

Location: Onsite in Lakeland, Florida (minimum 3 days week)

Responsibilities

  • Processes employment applications and supports other pre-employment activities, such as scheduling candidate testing and sourcing and screening applicants.
  • Communicating with applicants and hiring managers regarding interview scheduling
  • Planning and executing successful hiring events
  • Submits requests for background checks and previous employment verification to third party vendor; issues pre-adverse and adverse action letters as needed.
  • Interviews candidates regarding background reporting as needed.
  • Resolves issues regarding resource set up with third party vendor representatives.
  • Enters applicant information in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensures completion of all new hire paperwork.
  • Maintains the ATS database by running routine reports to ensure all appropriate fields are populated.
  • Other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate degree or higher is preferred.
  • A background in support of corporate recruiting departments or employment agencies required, successfully managing multiple, competing priorities.
  • Capability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and written.
  • PC Proficiency in MS Office and web-based job board networking; experience with applicant tracking software is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy concerning confidential financial information and employee files.
  • Capability to read, analyze and interpret general business information such as job descriptions, business articles, corporate and client communications, etc.
  • Ability to effectively report metrics and present information to all levels of management and various platforms within the organization.
  • Very proactive and able to identify and take action on opportunities to improve processes and procedures.
  • Strong customer orientation with an ability to build effective relationships with candidates, hiring managers, recruiting team and additional stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong time-management, organization and prioritization skills; able to multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines. Ability to remain adaptable and flexible.
