Minimum Qualifications Summary
Certification & Education
  • Must have at least a MA/MS Science in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related degree
Experience Required
  • Minimum 10 years' experience leading data modeling, data science, algorithm development, and automation efforts. Post- Graduate Degree in Data Science, Statistics, or Machine Learning preferred.
Job Objective
The Advanced Analytics Lead will support the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) with its core mission including the advancement of the US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Data Strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Provide expert leadership and guidance in performance under this contract
  • Responsible for leading the overall development of data models and algorithms to support machine learning and other data science research efforts
  • Support the use of graph databases to solve a range of problems: for example, using knowledge of graph database languages to query a graph database and answer statistical questions that require understanding familial relationships as defined in immigration law
  • Support research of ongoing, Agency-wide needs such as the development of FICO-like scores (i.e., the credit score) and metrics to serve production, reports, and analyses
Education & Certification
  • Must have at least a MA/MS Science in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related degree
