Position Description

Programs manufacturing equipment and maintains efficiencies of the work centers while meeting production requirements.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Plans and generates programs for manufacturing equipment by analyzing drawings and blueprints to determine processing requirements.
  2. Reviews existing programs and looks for opportunities to gain processing efficiencies.
  3. Investigates root causes of all defects and initiates the corrective action process as required.
  4. Reviews proposed tooling designs to ensure compatibility with assigned manufacturing equipment.
  5. Maintains consumable and spare parts inventory.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with machine parameter settings and computers.
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
High School diploma
Experience Requirements

Three years experience in production automation operations

Physical & Environmental Requirements
Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material. Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
Generally good working conditions.
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)
