Programs manufacturing equipment and maintains efficiencies of the work centers while meeting production requirements.
- Plans and generates programs for manufacturing equipment by analyzing drawings and blueprints to determine processing requirements.
- Reviews existing programs and looks for opportunities to gain processing efficiencies.
- Investigates root causes of all defects and initiates the corrective action process as required.
- Reviews proposed tooling designs to ensure compatibility with assigned manufacturing equipment.
- Maintains consumable and spare parts inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Technical knowledge and experience with machine parameter settings and computers.
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Three years experience in production automation operations
