Maintenance Mechanic IV - $42.64/hr +$5,000 SIGNING BONUS

We have multiple mechanic openings on days or nights (due to availability). You will be fully trained for approximately 3-5 weeks on days before you begin your regular 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Starting pay $42.64/hour plus a $.60 shift differential for working night shift.

Position Overview:

• Pay: $42.64
• Shift: 5:15am-5:30pm or 5:15pm-5:30am (depending on availability) on a rotating schedule of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, and 2 days. Every other weekend off!
• Shift Differential Pay: .60 for 2nd shift
• Monthly Bonus Opportunities- Max bonus potential up to $8,000 annually

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 8 years of related industrial mechanical experience with the following: predictive maintenance (PdM) and preventative maintenance (PM); lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures; advanced blueprint reading; compressors and pneumatic systems; reverse & laser alignments; troubleshooting & repair of pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and pneumatic equipment.
• Passing of industrial mechanical written AND practical tests
• Passing of all pre-employment testing which includes:
• Criminal background check
• Employment and academic verifications
• Drug screen & physical
• Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program preferred, but not required
• Proficient English (reading and writing) and math (adding, subtracting, multiplication) skills
• Must be able to communicate in English language

Physical Requirements:

• Required to wear respiratory protection up to 12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Required to be able to move about the plant, including climbing a flight of stairs, up to 12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to work in a hot production area wearing protective clothing, up to 12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, boots, and hearing protection) with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift/carry up to 80 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
