Major Position Responsibilities

SUMMARY: Designs, implements, and monitors a variety of human resource programs. Anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with business management. Responsibilities are within the Human Resources Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

    Supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs or policies.
  • Implements human resources programs by providing human resources services, which may include recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee or labor relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance.
  • Completes personnel transactions and maintains associated records.
  • Collects and analyzes internal and external information in order to compare the organizations HR practices to those prevailing in the market.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
  • For St. Petersburg, may also have responsibility for Recruitment including:
      • Perform full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, obtaining feedback, negotiating offers, and pre-employment paperwork and compliance across multiple business lines and geographies within the United States.

Basic Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate's Degree required
  • Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education and Experience
  • Preferred Discpline/Major: Human Resources or Business Management
  • 0-3 years prior experience relevant to the positions functional area
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Decision-making skills. Interpersonal skills. Judgement.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • For St. Petersburg:
    • Knowledge using direct sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pooling and industry relevant job boards.
    • Ability to quickly learn an applicant tracking system.
    • Manufacturing industry background is desired but not requried.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Travel Requirements

  • Less than 25% travel likely.
