Location

Hilton Garden Inn Key West / The Keys Collection is a brand new hotel that debuted in Key West, the southernmost city in the continental USA, in April 2016. This upscale hotel is set at the entry point of Key West on North Roosevelt Boulevard and is convenient to the island's best attractions such as Old Town, Mallory Square, Smathers Beach and the Hemingway House. The hotel is also close to Duval Street, the center of the action, where Key West's best restaurants, bars, nightlife and shopping reside. Boasting 141 brand new guest rooms, the hotel's facilities include a restaurant, indoor and outdoor bars, pool and Concierge desk, plus an abundance of complimentary amenities.

Overview

Shuttle Drivers must have a Florida CDL. Shuttle Drivers are responsible for providing hospitality in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner to all guests. The job duties of this position include, but not limited to: Ensuring guest are driven to and from the airport in an efficient safe manner; assisting with customers' belongings such as luggage, baby strollers, suit jackets, and wheelchairs; and provide driving directions and other information to guest. Constant radio contact with the Valet and Front Desk are a must to ensure efficient and reliable transportation as well as timely vehicle retrievals from the parking garage. Additionally, Drivers are responsible for maintaining shuttle maintenance and keeping them fueled and road worthy. Also, drivers must abide by all traffic and airport laws when driving and immediately reporting all incidents to the supervisor. The ability to work well independently, with minimal direct supervision will be required at times. After hire, associate will receive a $500 sign on bonus after completion of 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities
    Complete maintenance log accordingly.
  • Assist with customers' belongings if they choose to place it in storage (items might include luggage, baby strollers, suit jackets, and wheelchairs).
  • Provide information as requested by guests.
  • Maintain safety guidelines on shuttles and drive responsibly at all times.
  • Maintain hotel emergency procedures.
  • Immediately report all incidents to the manager or supervisor.
  • Clean vans accordingly.
  • Refuel vans as needed.
  • Maintain acceptable volume for onboard music.
Qualifications
  • Valid Florida CDL with Passenger Endorsement
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Excellent communication skills; read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
  • Valid driver's license with clear DMV Motor Vehicle Report for the past 36 months.
