Summary:

Goldbelt Integrated Logistics, LLC is looking for a Training Manager. The Training Manager must apply training management strategies and methods to meet business, schedule, and budget objectives.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

    Possesses and maintains credentials to meet local, state, and federal specialized certification requirements
  • Supervise instructor personnel with emphasis on management and administration of training activities in an operational or industrial environment including record management activities and utilization of a learning management system
  • Applies management experience in providing direction to a team of employees in the area of planning and executing work assignments, resolving conflicts, coordinating work efforts, interpreting policy, and meeting goals and objectives
  • Serves as the expert in developing and administering the course curriculum containing a myriad of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) related training and other training programs
  • Applies expert knowledge in instructional methodology, tests and measurement, curriculum development, courseware format guidelines development, task lists review and maintenance, objective hierarchies, scheduling and writing courseware materials in designated format (student study guide, workbooks, etc.)
  • Applies expert knowledge of various training medias to include instructor led, computer based, multimedia as well as other formats
  • Applies expert knowledge of the training curriculum to ensure compliance with existing laws, regulations, policy, and guidelines
  • Applies expertise in development and execution of periodic monitoring and validation testing of key control processes to ensure compliance with contractual requirements
  • Applies expert managerial knowledge of implementation of a training program with an understanding in training principles and practices, and analysis techniques and methods to serve as an expert in the management and administration of the Agency's training program
  • Independently works highly complex issues and provides recommended resolution and disposition
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Exceptional facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited educational institution
  • Minimum eight (8) years of specialized experience or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3 -5 years leading training staff and delivering training for large-scale efforts
