Job Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

THIS IS A SEASONAL POSITION
THERE ARE TWO (2) POSITIONS AVAILABLE

SAFETY SENSITIVE: Yes FINGERPRINTING REQUIRED: Yes
  • Assists counselor or instructor with all duties in preschool (Four Freedoms), developmental disabilities (Special Populations), after school, holiday and summer recreation programs (Youth Programs and Youth Center) and camps (Art Studio, Rotary Park & the Yacht Club).
  • Responsible for the safety of, and interaction with, all participants.
  • May be required to assist with daily programming, preparation & cleanup.
  • May assist in the responsible for the ID checklist, registrations and reporting of injuries/discipline problems & other records data to the Supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).

Individuals assigned to this classification must report to work per their assigned schedule. Parks and Recreation staff must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Attending or completion of high School or GED required.
  • Experience working with children preferred.
  • CPR & First Aid certification preferred.
