Role and Responsibilities:

CW Resources is seeking a skilled and experienced Tractor Operator to join our landscaping team. The Tractor Operator will be responsible for executing various landscaping tasks, ensuring efficiency, precision, and adherence to safety standards.

  • Perform daily inspection of the equipment to notice any potential equipment malfunction or mower blade changes.
  • Operate and maintain a range of landscaping equipment, including but not limited to tractors, mowers, skid-steers, excavators, and other relevant machinery.
  • Use equipment to transport and distribute materials, plants, and other landscaping supplies.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while operating equipment and performing landscaping tasks.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
  • Work closely with the landscaping team, which consist of individuals of all abilities.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other team members.
  • Services scheduled service areas as directed.
  • Coordinate daily with Crew Leaders to notify completion of any areas.
  • Adhere to company policies and breaks as directed by Crew Leader and Project Manager.
  • Wear all safety gear are required by CW Resources
  • Notify Crew Leader of any areas that are unsafe and cannot be serviced for the day
  • Obey and observe all traffic laws while operating said piece of equipment

          Education and Certification Requirements:

          • High School Degree or GED
          • Flight line Driver's License

          Requirement Experience and Skills:

          • Minimum of Two (2) years Construction/Landscaping Tractor Operator experience.
          • Strong background in operating a variety of landscaping equipment and machinery.
          • Proven experience as an Equipment Operator in the landscaping or construction industry.
          • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
          • Ability to work with persons with disabilities.

          Physical Demands:

          The Tractor Operator position is a physically demanding position. While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to reach with hands and arms. The incumbent is frequently required use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects tools or controls. The incumbent must spend the entire time at work standing, walking, lifting heavy objects, operating medium-weight lawn care equipment. The incumbent is required to do a great deal of stretching and bending, often in awkward positions. The incumbent must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

          Environmental Demands:

          The employee may occasionally be exposed to outdoor conditions, extreme heat or cold. The incumbent may be exposed to loud noises for extended periods.

          First aid and applicable safety precautions (preferred)
