Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work On-Site with our Client in Merritt Island, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Specifically, this position will involve multiple roles, primarily those revolving around the operations and maintenance of Information Technology (IT)-related systems.
  • The client has significantly emphasized operating lean while engaging automation whenever possible.
  • You will be utilizing and exposed to some of the leading technologies in the IT field today, including virtualized infrastructure, load balancing, patch automation, and more.
  • Perform the needed work associated with network administration, such as installing and configuring network infrastructure, onboarding network devices into monitoring and security platforms, and implementing maintenance processes that ensure network system stability and performance.
  • Specific tools associated with Network monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration include network Probes and Taps, Solar Winds, Wire shark, and IPERF.
  • Provide the needed network support for deploying infrastructure network topology architecture, processes, and reports.
  • Investigate functionality issues related to application connectivity, security, and system configurations.
  • Work with technical application teams to review, analyze, and resolve network-related performance issues.
  • Manage and participate in the monitoring, optimizing, and diagnosing of currently deployed network systems.
  • Provide the appropriate documentation to management, detailing the root cause analysis of outages and performance concerns, and propose resolution and optimization options.
  • Work closely with the Manager and the Enterprise Security Team to plan, design, implement, support, and monitor that the security initiatives are being met for the organization.
  • End-user interaction is critical within the Client's IT team.
  • When issues arise where Level 1 (helpdesk) personnel are unable to overcome a problem or when senior-level expertise may be needed to overcome a work stoppage, this position will be expected to assist end users in resuming normal business functions as quickly as possible.
  • This includes resolving account issues, assisting with network-related functionality, and resolving VPN-related connectivity problems.

Hours: 40hr/week

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Enterprise level networks.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing and supporting complex routing/switching solutions with high availability.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in BGP, OSPF and other advanced routing protocols.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Cisco IOS, Cisco Nexus operating systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Cisco Wireless WLC, Access points and wireless flex connect.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in management of enterprise-grade Firewalls, ASA, Firepower, FortiGate, Check Point, and Palo Alto.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience producing predictive surveys for wireless coverage.
  • Experience working in a high security environment and a thorough understanding of network security best practices.
  • Experience Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine)
  • Experience load-balancing solutions, with a particular emphasis on BIG-IP
  • Proven skill in Project management of Network related projects
  • CCNP
  • IPAM
  • MCSE/ MCSA
  • F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator
  • ITIL V3

  • The worker must have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operating machines mai, maintenance machinery, and test equipment where the seeing job is at or within arm's reach; performs non-repetitive mechanical or skilled trade tasks.
