Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Melbourne, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The client is searching for a technical professional to join the IP Network Management Systems Engineering team supporting IP systems engineering activities, collaborating with internal and external teams, and working independently on projects from start to finish.
  • Updating, troubleshooting, and enhancing solutions within tools such as BMC Remedy, CA/Broadcom Spectrum, CA NFA, Splunk, OwnCloud, and Infoblox.
  • Designing and implementing new enterprise systems to meet emerging program requirements.
  • Automating routine job functions in Python, BASH, or PowerShell as applicable.
  • Scheduling and executing maintenance requests for proactive engineering projects and break-fix scenarios.
  • Interacting directly with vendors for issue resolution.
  • Monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting the daily status of the health of infrastructure and services within an operations center utilizing management and monitoring tools.
  • Support on-call responsibilities and work after-hours as needed.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $58.92 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week

Length: Temp to Direct (12 Months)

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Network monitoring protocols/methods such as SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the Implementation/Administration of one or more Network Management Systems (Splunk, CA/Broadcom Product Suite, BMC Remedy, IPAM, Infoblox, ownCloud).
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Networking principles and systems functionality, with troubleshooting OSI layers 1-7 throughout a COTS environment.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS) and Microsoft Windows OS.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in the Development of clear and concise technical procedures.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in enterprise-grade application suites.
  • Minimum 8 years of Adept troubleshooting experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Apache Talend, or Solace Messaging Routers
  • Experience adhering to deadlines and completing tasks on schedule.
  • Experience with Agile software development and the systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Work well in a diverse team environment and with customers.
  • Knowledge of scripting using shell, PHP, bash, or similar scripting languages.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects according to business needs.
  • Knowledge of Web Services APIs, Perl/Python scripting, Bash, and Ansible.
  • Certifications of VMware VCA, VCP; NetApp NCDA, NCIE, RedHat RHCSA
  • Ability to step through complex problems and troubleshoot through to resolution.
  • Ability to impart knowledge and train others.
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate in a collaborative team environment
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
