We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Accounting Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various aspects of financial accounting, including intercompany reconciliation, fixed assets management, Capex budget management, assets disposals, and budget control. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders across the organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Fixed Assets Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Conduct regular audits of fixed asset registers to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Fixed Asset Physical inventory (performed every 3 years)
  • Manage the disposal process for obsolete or surplus assets, including coordinating with relevant departments and documenting disposal transactions.
  • Accounts Reconciliation:
  • Perform monthly reconciliation and checks (including intercompany transactions) to ensure accurate reporting of transactions between company entities; investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the reconciliation process.
  • Capex:
  • Review and assess capital expenditure requests, ensuring proper authorization and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Capitalize eligible expenditures in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Budget Control:
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets, providing analysis and insights to support decision-making.
  • Track actual spend against budgeted amounts and identify variances for management review.
  • Audit and Controls:
  • Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audit activities including reviewing and implementing action plans for findings.
  • Assess existing internal control processes, perform tests and address issues or potential
  • Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of key business processes to ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards
Your background

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business is highly preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Accounting or analysis role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (SAP, Kronos, LX...)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
