Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work On-Site with our Client in Pinellas Park, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing, monitoring the inspection, and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure company-wide compliance with our Total Quality Management System(s).
  • Also, responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our Total Quality Assurance Program (both internally and throughout our Supply Base) to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products and to ensure that the continuous improvement, quality control, and quality assurance of all production products are consistent with our established standards and industry Best Practices.
  • Responsible for ensuring process improvements, documentation, and passing third-party certification audits to maintain clients' certification and standards.
  • Supervise and direct quality assurance staff through coaching, planning, recruiting, training, disciplining employees, and reporting results to staff.
  • Communicate changes in quality specifications and procedures to quality assurance staff.
  • Maintain & lead quality management solutions for ISO/AS9100, ISO17025, and CMMI standards for external & internal audits (company, system, compliance, and surveillance) of suppliers/vendors, check incoming parts to meet standards, check out-going products, investigate customer complaints to meet SOW, specifications, and rigorous testing standards.
  • Leads & Conducts Annual Recertification with/ Independent Quality Management Organizations
  • Achieves quality assurance operational objectives through data analysis tied to strategic plans and goals.
  • Assist/direct procedures, requirements, corrective actions, process problem analysis, and administer NCM, preventative/corrective action, MRB, and Quality Management System procedures/requirements.
  • Ensure policies, procedures, desk guides, and forms stored on the Proven Process Website are up to date and being complied with by employees.
  • Administrate root-cause investigation & analysis, implement corrective preventative action process and approval, then determine system improvements and implement change(s) throughout the organization.
  • Meets quality assurance financial objectives through the Key Process Indicator weekly reporting tied to company KPIs (scrap, rework, yields, customer returns).
  • Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes through documenting evidence, determining operational/performance qualifications, and writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
  • Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying trends and developments in quality management.
  • Use various test/tester equipment on products to ensure the working conditions and meeting quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Configuration Management
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering of electrical/electronic manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry particularly in electronic/electrical components
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in AS9100D with ISO 9001: 2015, ISO/IEC 17025:2005, and CMMI
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with electrical, electronics, or mechanical components for build requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Continuous Improvement Processes & ISO/MIL Quality Systems

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Ability to read & interpret specs, drawings/schematics, and part lists.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Systems and Quality Management Systems
  • Proven ability to develop, manage, and enforce Manufacturing/Quality methods and procedures as well as lead, motivate, and train quality assurance staff members.
  • Good analytical and computer skills for various reports on product and process quality, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ongoing identification of technical problems and the development of sound, carefully thought-out solutions
  • Ability to mark & tag components for tracking inventory & stock levels.
