Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Miami, FL. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Reports to the Shop Lead Technician, or Shop Manager.
  • Considered to have some experience in his or her position/technicity.
  • Demonstrates interest and has successfully cross-trained in multiple types of component repairs.
  • As applicable to the designated shop has the strong abilities to Test, Repair, Overhaul, and moderately troubleshoot, aircraft components using schematics diagrams, Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) Airline EOs, and other FAA-approved technical documents.
  • Needs to be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs some complicated tasks.
  • Dexterity with hand tools.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 / hr.

Shift: 1st (5am-2 or 7am-330pm)

Hours: 40 hrs/Week

Length: Contract to Direct

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of specialized repair experience in the field
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Multi-meters, Hi-Pot Testers, Bonding Testers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators, Torque Wrenches, Calipers, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analyzer Function Generators and other precision measuring equipment.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Understands the concept of and knows the test equipment needed.
  • Possess the ability to follow written instructions from FAA/ OEM/ Airline EO, or other technical data for maintenance.
  • Electronics Technicians possess the ability to solder and de-solder electronic components (through hole-mounted and surface-mounted components).
  • Possess the ability to work with little supervision and have some troubleshooting skills and abilities.
  • Has some knowledge of needed test equipment for the position/technicity.
  • Knowledgeable, friendly, positive attitude and being a 'Team Player', always willing to learn new tasks, and new skills and participate with peers.
  • Share ideas to improve processes.
