Here's what you'd do:
- Aviation technician troubleshoots, repairs, or overhauls, and tests aircraft components to include the removal and reinstallation of all sub-components.
- Receives technical guidance, as needed, from supervisor or higher-level technician.
- Work involves disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and test of those components serviced and piece parts by the repair station manual.
- Applies technical knowledge of aircraft components in determining equipment malfunctions.
- Applies needed expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation.
- Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufacturer's manuals.
- Will be needed to make entries in work order documentation for work performed.
- Understand and perform functions by FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001 Standards
