Reporting to the Integration Leader - Commercial Aftermarket, this role is accountable for the development and execution of a global MRO and Supply Chain strategy across the Aftermarket division. The Operations Leader will work as part of the divisional leadership team and in partnership with OE divisions and Aerospace Group functional leaders to deliver world-class levels of safety, quality and turnaround time for our premier customers. This role is fundamental to the successful partnership between OE division (supply) and Aftermarket (demand) to provide industry-leading levels of operational performance (notably spares distribution LISC) whilst increasing inventory intensity across Parker Aerospace. Casts a division-wide Parker Lean System shadow.

The role will play a key role in delivering the integration and successfully transitioning into steady-state operations. Acting as a champion for changes required to sustain new ways of working, driving synergy efforts with rigor and ensuring our people, processes and tools are fit for our future as a combined business. Following the transition to steady state operations, the role will report directly to the VP, Aftermarket.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Directly accountable for safe, effective management of MRO sites in Miami and Singapore.

Responsible for division-wide Lean leadership including continuous improvement in MRO operational performance with a focus on zero defects, turnaround time and inventory intensity.

Accountable for spares distribution operational performance (LISC) working in partnership with divisions.

Leads on the provision of a demand forecast, working with Commercial Sales, Military Sales and Strategic Marketing team to develop an informed view on future demand. Responsible for driving continuous improvement of the forecasting process.

Responsible for the development of a Global MRO and spares distribution strategies, working with colleagues in Commercial Sales, Military Sales and Strategic Marketing functions to develop long term plans to increase market share and operational / financial performance.

Develops long term, working with divisions to identify new ways of working which can optimize profitable growth, inventory intensity and customer service.

Execution of MRO strategy - including development of new capabilities, product transfer, systems deployment and other related improvement initiatives across both commercial and military markets.

Maintains cost leadership of all aspects of MRO operations, including fixed price repairs

Identification of opportunities to improve product performance including opportunities to displace competitors through Product Improvement & Retrofit campaigns.

Oversight of and support to MRO facilities embedded within OE divisions - maintaining a consolidated view of overall operational performance and acting as 'value added service provider' to OE divisions in their pursuit of improving customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

Extensive experience within the Aerospace MRO environment including roles as accountable manager and in setting, agreeing and executing MRO improvement strategies globally.

Good understanding of both commercial and military aerospace markets.

Track record of prior success in planning and forecasting role.

Good knowledge of forecasting tools, techniques and systems including predictive analytics.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships with leadership and employees of all levels.

Planning and organizational skills, with the ability to lead and contribute to project teams with a collaborative approach.

Performance-driven individual who is a critical thinker with a metrics-driven approach to all solutions.

Must be able to travel to other locations as required.

Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline is required; advanced degree is a plus.

Minimum of five years experience in manufacturing, sales engineering or administration.
