Our products include laser diode drivers, pockels cell drivers, laser power supplies, capacitor charging power supplies, CW arc lamp power supplies, pulsed flash lamp drivers, simmer supplies, laser rangefinder receivers, laser spot trackers, photodetector-amplifier modules, HV bias supplies, fiber optic links, fast peak pulse stretchers, transimpedance amplifiers, voltage amplifiers and logarithmic amplifiers.

Analog Modules, Inc. is recruiting for a Product Engineer.

The Product Engineer designs electronic circuits for new products used in the electro-optics and laser industry, covering a broad range of controls, analog, power supplies, and high voltage circuitry.

  • Designs and develops analog, power electronics, and interface control circuits for various electro-optic applications.
  • Tests both hardware and firmware to ensure correct operation to meet design verification according to test plans. Debug as necessary.
  • Writes documentation and creates schematics for products. Provides documentation and direction for PCB layouts to drafting, assists in drawing creation, and design reviews as required.
  • Works under the direction of the project leader for assigned projects with emphasis on electronic circuit designs. Oversees budgetary process to ensure that budgets of time and raw materials are not exceeded.
  • Develops test procedures and test fixtures for assigned products and projects.
  • Reviews test results and documentation prior to shipment.
  • Assists technical sales personnel and the Director of Engineering prepare cost projections by estimating time and raw materials needed on an individual job basis.
  • Troubleshoots with customers to resolve technical questions and ensure all customer specifications have been met.
  • Investigate and develop solutions to resolve performance and reliability problems within existing equipment or system constraints.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of five years industry experience
  • Proficiency in design and analysis of analog and power electronics and electro-optical systems
  • Interfacing with digital controls desired
Work Schedule
Analog Modules' Team Members work a 9/80 schedule, which means our workweek splits on Friday. Full-time Team Members work 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday and 8 hours on Friday one week of our pay period and the following week they work 9 hours per day Monday - Thursday and have that Friday off. This allows Team Members to enjoy a three-day weekend twice a month.
