Description: NSI requires a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (FRCSE) Avionics Division. The Avionics division repairs/overhauls a multitude of avionics components, both peculiar and common, utilized in different Type/Model/Series Naval Aircraft. This position is for a Mechanical Engineer with experience with balance and rotating test equipment. Experience with Schenck balancing and rotating test equipment is very much preferred. If the candidate has no experience with Schenck products, but has worked with balancing and rotating test equipment, the customer may fund the candidate receiving Schenck training and certifications. This position will be on site (no remote) at the FRCSE.
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Education: BS or BA degree in Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience supporting test equipment maintenance, preferably balancing and rotating equipment.
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance is Required. Must be U.S. citizen.
