What you'll do:

• Have 2+ years of full-service, high-volume restaurant experience
• Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations, making wine recommendations and answering questions.
• Understand flavors, aromas and characteristics of food ingredients and wines
• Perform calmly and effectively in a high-volume environment
• Manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise
• Educate guests on the different varieties of wine, pairing suggestions, and wine regions.
• Train and educate staff on wine knowledge and service techniques.
• Attend and participate in wine tastings, events, and industry conferences.
• Hold a certification from a recognized sommelier program, such as the Court of Master Sommeliers or the International Sommelier Guild preferred.
