Junior Product Line Manager - Eagle

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Role/Purpose:
The Key objectives for the Junior Product Line Manager, Eagle X-Ray is to secure continued and sustainable Profitable Growth. To fulfill this objective, the tasks and responsibilities of the job will include, but are not limited to, assisting with new product innovation and product portfolio training as the product expert. Sales Growth must be pursued through collaboration with the Product Line Manager as well as the Eagle Sales and Marketing departments on all initiatives and campaigns aimed at Brand strengthening, market segment management, sales booster initiatives and new product launches (material creation and training delivery). The Junior Product Line Manager will also support the Eagle applications lab where needed and support ongoing escalations as the product expert.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide data analysis, support and inspiration to Eagle Leadership, the Marketing Department, and the Sales team in all efforts to generate leads and sales tools, to support the sales of Eagle products and Service.
  • Owns the full Eagle training schedule from creation to maintenance of the materials to delivering training both internally to the technical team but also externally to customers.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by customer visits.
  • Become an expert with respect to the competition and the market and share this expertise within the Eagle organization.
  • Understand the Eagle software solution and support the applications department with activities such as testing, mechanical/electrical configurations, FAT’s and customer visits.
  • In conjunction with the Eagle R&D and product management, develop and implement new product launch programs including robust training plans.
  • Travel to tradeshows, trials and customer sites with Regional Sales Managers, Sales Reps and Field Service Technicians as needed to support the profitable growth of the Eagle business.
  • Together with the Product Line Manager and the Sales department of Eagle Product Inspection, assist with managing the Eagle product line life from strategic planning to tactical execution in the Americas.
    • Other duties and tasks as assigned.


What You Need to Succeed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Act as a leader within the company
  • Technical background combined with commercial training and experience.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Self-starter (can work without supervision).
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.

Minimum Education / Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of business/technical experience.
  • Experience with automated machinery (preferably x-ray)
  • Previous experience with training material creation and delivery
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
