General Purpose of Job
The Land Rights Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Land Rights Manager in supervising and coordinating all aspects of real property functions, including lease negotiation, land acquisition, disposition, easement verification and procurement, reviewing plat language for major projects, managing large scale projects, maintaining positive relationships with members and stakeholders, and overseeing support staff. This position reports directly to the Land Rights Manager and supports various departments within the Cooperative by ensuring efficient supervision of land rights related activities.

Education
Minimum | High School or GED | ||
Preferred | 4 Year / Bachelors Degree | Major: | land management, real estate, business administration, paralegal, or a related field |
Experience
Minimum | Four (4) years of relevant experience in real estate, land rights, or relevant legal field |
Preferred | Two (2) years of experience as a manager or supervisor |
Preferred | Experience working with lawyers, surveyors, appraisers, environmental consultants, engineers, or other land rights related professionals |
Preferred | Experience with eminent domain proceedings and related projects. |
Preferred | Experience or similar work with an electric utility or related industry. |
Education and/or Experience Notes
Minimum of four (4) years' experience in land acquisition, land rights, or a related field may be substituted for the required education. |
