Evaluate inmates’ healthcare needs, and provides necessary and appropriate nursing care while observing all security requirements.
On call work required
Med pass, wound care, EKGs, vital signs, variety of duties
Shifts Available – 7a-7p, 7p-7a, weekends, flexibility in scheduling, commitment of 2 shifts per month with additional shifts available.
Qualifications:
High School graduation or equivalent diploma from an institution accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (DOE) or licensed as a degree granting institution by the Commission for Independent Education
Graduation from an accredited licensed practical nursing program
Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Florida
Maintain appropriate, unrestricted credentials according to the licensure, certification, and registration requirements of the jurisdiction
Satisfactory completion of 30 + hour IV Certification
CPR - BLS or ACLS Certification Required
Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license
Consideration for this position requires a credit check
Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
