The Peace Corps can provide you with an opportunity to put your education, foreign language skills, work and volunteer experience to good use. Peace Corps Volunteers build international relationships, develop professional and personal skills, and gain a global perspective that may help you to achieve your life’s goals.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but nominations and placements are competitive and programs fill up quickly. Over the past year, Peace Corps received over 13,000 applications, a 16% increase over the previous year. This is the largest boost in applications over the last five years.
