The Center for Independent Living in Central Florida, Inc. (CIL) is a private, non-profit organization that was founded in 1976 by Central Floridians dedicated to helping people with disabilities achieve their self-determined goals for independent living. CIL is a consumer-driven organization whose philosophy is based on peer role models: people with disabilities empowering people with disabilities and their families on the road to independence.

Christian Help prevents homelessness by helping the unemployed find jobs while providing for them materially and spiritually. Each unemployed person who comes into the office, comes to a seminar or calls in, completes a skills profile. The Christian HELP counselor uses this, along with the person's resume in an interview to determine what the person is best suited to do. The counselor then reviews open jobs for ones requiring the job seeker's skills and discusses the job openings with the seeker.

Community Haven for Adults & Children with Disabilities, Inc. creates solutions and makes changes in the lives of children, teens, and adults with disabilities by providing a variety of specialized programs and services, such as Early Childhood Intervention, Occupational Rehabilitation, Work Force Development, Employment Opportunities, and Community Living.

The Community Service Center of Central Florida is a community responsive non-profit organization committed to providing neighborhood-based programs that promote family preservation and economic self-sufficiency through a focus on financial support services, education and literacy. The Community Service Center also sponsors after-school literacy and employment programs for low-income youth and adults.
