Job title: Management & Sales Controller DGF

Job location: Miami, FL


Description

The Management and Sales Controller DGF US is responsible for accurate & timely reporting of financial performance in CREST & Forwin, ensure compliance with all legal and Group financial guidelines. Provides monthly analysis of financial business performance (Products, Customers and Stations, ensures and follows up of correct Sales Achievements, Control of SALES KPI, sign off Sales Performance. The position also drives the Risk and Opportunity reporting for US and manages the Planning. Budgeting and Forecasting processes and coordinates and supports BCA for CT and Regional presentation


Main responsibilities

  • Financial Controlling / Reporting
  • Ensure timely, correct and complete reporting for all countries in the region in CREST
  • Provide monthly financial reporting on regional performance to regional and global management
  • Ensure adherence to Local, Regional, Global guidelines, rules and regulations
  • Drive financial and operational performance and initiate corrective measures to achieve profitability targets
  • Prepare variance analysis and narratives in order to alert management on financial issues, trends and opportunities
  • Sales Controlling
  • Manage month end closing processes for File Accounting (Forwin)
  • Ensure correct Sales Controlling KPI, sign off Sales Performance.
  • Risk & Opportunity reporting
  • Manage the quarterly risk reporting for the region
  • Identify and collect major risks and opportunities and provide early warning to senior management.
  • Ensure proper follow up on risk mitigation actions
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process in compliance with overall financial policies and procedures to support the achievement of strategic targets
  • Manage yearly budget process in conjunction with line management
  • Manage the monthly forecast for the region incl. CEO alignment
  • Investment Controlling
  • Evaluate investment business cases and co-ordinate the review and approval process in compliance with the DPDHL policies
  • Conduct post investment reviews to check against BCA deliverables
  • Process improvements
  • Continuously drive improvement of controlling processes
  • Analyze and review systems and procedures to implement changes and improvements for greater efficiency

Required skills

  • Strong analytical skills, solid business acumen and conceptual thinking
  • Constructive challenge (able to stand up for his ideas and challenge for the better)
  • Ability to influence and interact with senior management
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Able to propose solutions, resolve problems
  • Presentation skills and knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
  • Change Management skills

Other requirements

  • 7-10 years working experience in relevant business environment of similar size
  • Used to work in a multinational environment and in a large corporation
  • Relevant university degree, professional accounting or controlling qualification, M
