Overview

Coordinates and communicates daily assignment of donor services employees.

Responsibilities

    Coordinates daily assignment of mobile units within respective areas of responsibility
  • Determines and communicates to the Donor Services supervisor/designee the long and short-range staffing availability
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for Donor Services employees assigned to specific collection areas with regard to PTO requests or any other special scheduling exemptions
  • Ensures that an adequate pool of available Donor Services employees is available on a week-by-week basis to support pending blood drives.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or equivalent and one to two years general office experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:

None

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to organize work for timely completion
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand standard English

Functions are regularly performed inside without potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
