Position Summary:
This class is the first of three levels in the Sign Language Interpretation series. Incumbents provide interpreting services for students, faculty and staff who are deaf or hard-of hearing. Responsibilities may include interpreting in the classroom and other settings; providing information and resources on deaf related issues; interpreting written material; and participating in the development of standardized signs for vocabulary specific to certain courses.

Two years preferred.

Responsibilities:
