The mission of the University of Central Florida is to offer high-quality undergraduate and graduate education, student development, and continuing education; to conduct research and creative activities; and to provide services that enhance the intellectual, cultural, environmental, and economic development of the metropolitan region, address national and international issues in key areas, establish UCF as a major presence, and contribute to the global community.

The mission of the School of Nursing at the University of Central Florida is to provide excellence in nursing education, research and service to develop clinicians, leaders and scholars who promote the health of diverse populations at the local, state, national and international level. Our school has achieved prominence as an innovator in nursing education, responding to a changing population with complex health-care needs.

UF is a major, public, comprehensive, land-grant, research university. The state's oldest, largest and most comprehensive university, Florida is among the nation's most academically diverse public universities. Florida has a long history of established programs in international education, research and service. It is one of only 17 public, land-grant universities that belongs to the Association of American Universities.

The University of South Florida St. Petersburg is the oldest and largest regional campus within USF. USF St. Petersburg offers students a strong liberal arts curriculum coupled by professional programs in Business and Education. The campus is known for its small college atmosphere with the benefits of being part of a university with a national reputation for advanced scholarship. USF is one of the nation's major public research universities and is classified in the top tier as Doctoral/Research Extensive by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee delivers quality education to upper-division baccalaureate and master's students in an active research environment. We support students in attaining their highest potential by nurturing leadership, critical thinking, and an appreciation for learning. We advance cultural, social, environmental, and economic well-being for all we serve.

The University of Tampa is a comprehensive, independent university that delivers challenging and high quality educational experiences to a diverse group of learners. Four colleges offer more than 100 programs of undergraduate study through a core curriculum rooted in a liberal arts tradition. Beginning with an innovative first-year student experience, University of Tampa students explore global issues, examine career possibilities, and refine communication and critical thinking skills.

Valencia Community College is proof that great things can come from small beginnings. In fall of 1967 we began as Valencia Junior College in a few portable buildings on West Oakridge Road in Orlando. From those humble beginnings, Valencia has become an innovative leader in higher education with a national reputation for teaching excellence. With four campuses and two centers in the Orlando area, Valencia is now the third largest of Florida's 28 community colleges, teaching more than 50,000 students a year.

Winter Park Tech (WPT) is recognized in Central Florida as the leading technical training center for career and technical education. WPT provides a "High-Tech, High Touch" educational environment, state-of-the-art equipment and an exceptional instructional staff where students develop exceptional technical and soft skills.Technical training programs focus around the career clusters of Business, Information Technology, Arts and Design, and Health Science. Currently, 26 career certificate programs are offered to adults and high school students.
